Westmorland and Furness Council

Using LocalGov Drupal, I collaborated with another content designer to consolidate three websites into one, rewriting content based on user needs and jobs to be done.

I defined the information architecture, making council services easier to find. I wrote step-by-step guidance for processes like applying for business licenses and reporting to Trading Standards.

I worked with internal experts to evaluate what information was essential and where we could reduce costs by signposting to national information e.g. on GOV.UK.
